Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck leverages aggressively statted creatures to reduce the casting cost of Ghalta, Primal Hunger to just two green mana. By deploying low-cost mana dorks and over-statted beaters like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull on early turns, the deck consistently casts its 12/12 trampling commander by Turn 4. Card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise reward these massive bodies by drawing cards upon entry. The deck seeks to overwhelm opposing defenses through raw combat stats, doubling creature power with Unnatural Growth or overrunning blockers with Overwhelming Stampede. While it generates formidable board pressure and high mana efficiency, the strategy is inherently vulnerable to creature sweepers and targeted removal due to its reliance on combat and limited protective countermagic.
