Deck overview

This Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign deck leverages Esper colors to manipulate the top of the library and cheat overwhelming odd-cost bombs onto the battlefield. Backed by an efficient suite of 2-mana artifacts, Yennett reliably hits the board on turn 4 and attacks on turn 5. Top-deck sculptors like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Lim-Dûl's Vault ensure Yennett consistently flips catastrophic odd-cost threats such as Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant. These bombs impose severe asymmetric locks, decimate opposing boards, and establish an inescapable clock. High-quality single-target removal and free protection spells defend the strategy, while backup value engines like Breena, the Demagogue and Marvo, Deep Operative maintain card velocity if Yennett is answered.
