Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mono-Black Aristocrats combo strategy commanded by Ayara, First of Locthwain. It focuses on assembling compact, repeatable sacrifice loops to drain the entire table simultaneously. The primary win condition utilizes Ayara, First of Locthwain alongside Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler to generate infinite enters-the-battlefield and death triggers, closing games reliably on Turn 4. A deep suite of 10 tutors ensures high consistency, while card-draw engines such as Skullclamp, Undead Augur, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare sustain continuous card flow. Defensively, the list controls the board with asymmetric sacrifice effects like Grave Pact and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, backed by efficient spot removal including Deadly Rollick and sweepers like Toxic Deluge. While the deck excels at creature suppression and rapid combo execution, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed graveyard exile and lacks stack-based countermagic.
