Kefka, Court Mage budget under $200 bracket 3 by TheBjornLegacy

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis discard commander built around the front face. Its enters and attack trigger converts each opponent into card draw, while the back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, is a late-game transformation that turns opponent life loss into draws. The primary plan is to strip hands with Kefka and one-shot discarders, convert each discard into life loss with Megrim, Raiders' Wake, Fell Specter, and Entropic Battlecruiser, and finish with Niv-Mizzet draw-ping engines, Psychosis Crawler, or Kefka, Dancing Madness. The hidden commander is Niv-Mizzet, Parun, which turns the deck's draw engine into direct damage. Wizard-trigger doubling and graveyard recursion are secondary paths.
