Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list contains zero low-mana creature cards, ensuring that every polymorph trigger reveals directly into a devastating top-end threat. The early game focuses on deploying two-mana artifact ramp and noncreature token producers like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to transform a token into an overwhelming creature such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, or Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Backup engines including Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny provide redundancy if Jace is contested. A robust suite of exile removal and token-generating board sweepers keeps opposing aggressive decks in check while giant flying threats close out the game through lethal combat across subsequent turns.
