Format: Commander

Commander: Garland, Royal Kidnapper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Garland, Royal Kidnapper leads a blue-black monarch theft deck that controls the board by seizing opponents' creatures and turning them into attackers. The primary plan is to install Garland, make an opponent the monarch, and steal a creature each time the crown changes hands. Secondary paths use goad auras and monarch cards to force opponents to fight each other while you stockpile stolen threats. The commander's role is both disruption and finisher, as every stolen creature gets +2/+2. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built firmly around Garland's monarch interaction.
