Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Naya Equipment Voltron build centered on Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. The primary strategy utilizes dense mana acceleration—featuring format staples like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox—to deploy high-impact Equipment on early turns before casting Cloud on curve. When Cloud enters the battlefield, its triggered ability attaches an Equipment such as Colossus Hammer, Buster Sword, or Commander's Plate for free, completely bypassing steep equip costs. Thanks to native haste, Cloud attacks immediately on turn 4, drawing cards and creating two Treasure tokens when its power reaches 7 or greater. The deck accelerates lethal commander damage using double strike enablers like Duelist's Heritage and Akroma's Will, or spreads damage across all opponents using Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. A robust suite of low-cost protection spells, including Deflecting Swat, Grand Abolisher, and Teferi's Protection, guards Cloud through combat windows, while backup bombs like Ancient Copper Dragon maintain pressure if the commander is removed.
