Deck overview

This deck is a proactive Boros token swarm and burn strategy commanded by Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival. The game plan revolves around casting spells and playing lands from exile using an extensive suite of red impulse-draw effects, Chandra planeswalkers, and exile payoffs. Each exile trigger creates a 1/1 flying Thopter token with haste, allowing the deck to rapidly assemble an evasive airborne army while advancing its card velocity. High-impact cards like Quintorius Kand, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, and Delayed Blast Fireball supplement combat damage with direct burn across the entire table. The deck plays efficiently on curve and recovers smoothly through functional redundancy, though its reliance on creature-based combat and planeswalker permanents leaves it vulnerable to opposing board wipes and fast combo strategies.
