Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy mono-white aggro build powered by Momo, Friendly Flier and 22 copies of Tempest Hawk. Momo provides an efficient Turn 1 commander that reduces the casting cost of the first flying creature spell each turn by {1}, enabling a Turn 2 Tempest Hawk. Upon dealing combat damage, each Hawk searches the library for another copy, creating an uninterrupted stream of evasive threats that fills the battlefield. The strategy transitions rapidly from self-replenishing weenies to a lethal airborne army via powerful anthems such as Coat of Arms, Mirror Box, Soulcatchers' Aerie, and Steel-Plume Marshal. High-impact asymmetric sweepers like Dusk // Dawn and The Battle of Bywater wipe out opposing large blockers while leaving 2/2 Birds unharmed. Defensively, zero-mana and low-mana protection spells like Flare of Fortitude, Clever Concealment, and Selfless Spirit shield the flock from wipes, closing games reliably by Turn 7.
