Deck overview

This deck is a specialized 4-color Control and Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. Because the deck runs zero cheap utility creatures, every creature card in the 99 is a colossal threat, including Archon of Cruelty, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Void Winnower. Early turns focus on mana development via 2-CMC signets and assembling expendable token fodder through noncreature permanents such as Bitterblossom, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Hard Evidence. On Turn 4, Jace enters and immediately uses his -3 loyalty ability to transform a 1/1 token into an asymmetric bomb. Supported by high-tier interaction, free protection spells like Flawless Maneuver and Clever Concealment, and backup polymorph effects like Transmogrify and Synthetic Destiny, the deck suffocates opposing boards under severe attrition before closing out the game through massive evasive combat damage.
