Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Great Goblin is a counter-trigger payoff and death-trigger card-advantage engine: every amass or +1/+1 counter placement pings an opponent, and each dead Goblin/Orc/Army exiles the top card to play later. The deck's real engine and hidden commander is Krenko, Mob Boss. The goal is to assemble a fast Goblin count with Goblin Warchief and sacrifice outlets, then turn that mass into one massive Assault on Osgiliath. Secondary paths drain with Goblin Bombardment, Boggart Mischief, or The Great Goblin's repeated pings. The deck is aggressive, token-heavy, and combat-focused, with modest stack protection but strong mid-game recursion.
