Deck overview

This Orzhov spellslinger list is helmed by Firja, Judge of Valor, built to exploit the "second spell each turn" trigger on both her and a suite of payoff creatures. The deck aims to chain cheap instants and sorceries-removal, cantrips, and protection-to draw cards, fill the graveyard, and generate token armies. With no infinite combos, the primary win conditions are large X drain spells (Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless) that close out the game once the mana engine (Crypt Ghast, Cabal Coffers+Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth) comes online. Inkshield provides a secondary combat-based finish. The strategy is controlling and incremental: keep the board clean, out-value opponents with repeatable draw triggers, then explode with a massive spell.
