Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a specialized life-manipulation combo strategy piloted by Mister Negative. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging asymmetric life totals: reducing your own life total to 1 using repeatable life sinks like Wall of Blood, Unspeakable Symbol, or Necropotence, and then casting or blinking Mister Negative to exchange life totals with an opponent. Because life exchange is treated as life loss and life gain, pairing this trigger with damage doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz or drain payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Sanguine Bond instantly eliminates multiple opponents in a single turn cycle. The deck is heavily fortified with dedicated protection spells, including Angel's Grace, Silence, Flare of Fortitude, and Teferi's Protection, ensuring that executing lines at single-digit life totals remains secure. With massive card draw engines such as Ad Nauseam, The One Ring, and Bolas's Citadel, the deck rapidly digs to its payoff pieces and establishes consistent, lethal clock pressure.
