Sir Veil, the orb master by Moonsugar

Format: Commander

Commander: Mirko, Obsessive Theorist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Dimir surveil-reanimator helmed by Mirko, Obsessive Theorist, who grows with every surveil and reanimates a creature each end step. The deck's engine is the graveyard: cheap surveil spells and creatures fill the yard, graveyard tutors stock it with bombs, and Mirko plus a deep reanimation suite (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, Persist, Victimize, The Soul Stone) keep threats coming back turn after turn. The primary win is a mill-drain loop built around Mindcrank - paired with Duskmantle Guildmage, Bloodchief Ascension, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or The Master of Lake-town - that mills each opponent out. Secondary wins come from combat with reanimated haymakers like Archon of Cruelty, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Massacre Wurm. It plays as a value-heavy midrange deck that converts card advantage and graveyard inevitability into a combo finish.
