Deck overview

This deck is a classic Jeskai Spellslinger and Free-Cast engine commanded by Narset, Enlightened Master. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Narset by Turn 5 using early artifact ramp, equipping a haste source like Lightning Greaves or using lands like Arena of Glory, and immediately attacking. Narset's native hexproof shields it from spot removal, allowing its attack trigger to exile the top four cards of the library and cast powerful noncreature spells—such as Omniscience, One with the Multiverse, and Shark Typhoon—entirely for free. Topdeck manipulation tools like Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top stack expensive spells to maximize each attack flip. The deck closes games around Turn 7 via chained extra combats from Relentless Assault, massive prowess and shark token swarms, or Approach of the Second Sun. While resilient against targeted interaction, the deck relies heavily on its 6-mana commander and remains susceptible to untargeted board wipes.
