Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm list piloted by Vadrik, Astral Archmage. The core strategy revolves around increasing Vadrik's power with low-cost pump spells like Invigorated Rampage and Fists of the Anvil to provide massive generic mana cost reduction to all instant and sorcery spells. Once Vadrik reduces costs by 4 or more generic mana, high-impact spells such as Fact or Fiction, Big Score, and Deep Analysis cast for a single colored mana, turning rummage and draw spells into net mana positive rituals. The deck chains through its library, reloads via Past in Flames or Mind's Desire, and closes out the game in a single turn using multi-target burn spells like Jaya's Immolating Inferno and Comet Storm, or by executing an infinite storm and mana loop with Haze of Rage and Storm-Kiln Artist.
