Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon tribal battlecruiser strategy led by The Ur-Dragon. It uses its commander's Eminence ability to reduce the casting cost of all Dragon spells by one generic mana from the command zone. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient two-mana green ramp spells and artifacts to establish a five-color mana base. On turns 3 and 4, it deploys key enablers like Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to give its creatures haste and duplicate their enters-the-battlefield triggers. Between turns 4 and 5, it casts heavy Dragon threats like Terror of the Peaks, Utvara Hellkite, and Atarka, World Render, dealing massive direct burn damage and overwhelming opponents in combat. Robust protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Teferi's Protection shield the board from sweepers. By turn 6, the deck reliably eliminates all opponents through concentrated aerial combat damage and direct damage triggers.
