Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Pirate tribal strategy led by Admiral Beckett Brass. Its primary game plan is to flood the board with low-cost, evasive Pirates during the early turns, cast the commander on Turn 4, and connect in combat to steal the opponents' best nonland permanents. Mid-game turns leverage secondary engines like Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, Breeches, Brazen Plunderer, and Edward Kenway to amass Treasure tokens and draw cards from opposing libraries. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 using damage multipliers like Dire Fleet Neckbreaker, multi-target theft from Coercive Recruiter, or an alternate win condition via Revel in Riches. While the list excels at sustained value generation and thematic creature synergy, its reliance on maintaining a wide board makes it vulnerable to sweepers and creature-heavy board stalls.
