Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity aggressive Naya deck led by Aragorn, Hornburg Hero, focusing on exploiting the renown mechanic and exponential +1/+1 counter multiplication. Early turns establish mana fixing, ramp, and low-curve creatures that establish counters or modify board state. Aragorn provides attacking creatures first strike and renown 1, transforming ordinary attackers into lethal threats and doubling counters on subsequent hits. Evasion enablers like Abzan Falconer and Kodama of the West Tree ensure attacks connect through blockers. Sustained card flow engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and The One Ring replenish the hand, while an elite protection package featuring Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention shields developed boards against removal. Finishes are achieved through crushing combat steps fueled by Overwhelming Stampede, Akroma's Will, or extra combat steps from Full Throttle and Aurelia, the Warleader, closing out the game across turns 7 to 8.
