Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger and tempo-control strategy centered around Hinata, Dawn-Crowned. Hinata reduces the generic mana cost of spells by {1} for each target, turning high-cost multi-target spells like Curse of the Swine, Aether Gale, Disorder in the Court, and Magma Opus into devastating 1- to 3-mana blowouts. Concurrently, Hinata taxes opponents' targeted spells, providing a layer of natural ward-like protection. The deck wins by pairing these hyper-efficient control spells with token producers such as Talrand, Sky Summoner, Kykar, Wind's Fury, Deekah, Fractal Theorist, and burn from Guttersnipe. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos and fast mana, its engine creates massive mana advantages, resets opposing boards, and closes out games through overwhelming evasive combat damage.
