Format: Commander

Commander: Gishath, Sun's Avatar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gishath, Sun's Avatar is a ramp-and-flood dinosaur deck: the goal is to reach eight mana, cast Gishath, connect in combat, and let his trigger put multiple Dinosaurs onto the battlefield. Secondary paths include cheating big Dinosaurs with Monster Manual, Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, and Finale of Devastation, or assembling Poetic Ingenuity + Aggravated Assault for infinite combats once five Dinosaurs are attacking. The commander is the main engine and finisher, but the deck has enough midrange Dinosaur threats to keep playing if he is answered. The gameplan is combat-focused; there is no true hidden commander, though Etali and Ghalta variants serve as alternate payoff bombs.
