Lots of Elves by JanckyPeanut

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads a Golgari elfball deck that wins by converting cheap Elves into a wide board and then cashing that board in. The primary kill is a critical-mass combat step: Natural Order sacrificing an Elf into Craterhoof Behemoth, or Triumph of the Hordes turning the swarm into poison counters. A secondary drain axis runs through Lathril's tap-ten ability, Throne of the God-Pharaoh, Shaman of the Pack, and Skemfar Shadowsage. Mana dorks such as Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, and Marwyn, the Nurturer make the deck explosive, while Elvish Promenade, Elven Ambush, Imperious Perfect, and Wolverine Riders generate critical mass. There are no infinite combos in the 99; this is a tempo/midrange deck that wants to overrun the table in one clean turn.
