Commander: Dwalin, Weaponmaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dwalin, Weaponmaster is a Boros Dwarf-Equipment deck that wins by stacking hone counters on multiple Equipment and swinging with an unblockable or double-striking Dwalin for 21 commander damage. The commander's enter/attack trigger turns every Equipment into a growing power buff, so the deck floods the board with cheap Equipment, copies them with Bloodforged Battle-Axe, and finishes with Reyav, Dain Ironfoot, Boros Charm, or Akroma's Will. Secondary paths are Dwarf-token go-wide with Fili/Thorin and Dain of the Ancient Halls' life-total pings. Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as a hidden commander, converting tapped Dwarves into Treasures and tutoring Excalibur or Mjolnir. The deck can pivot to Bruenor or Thorin if Dwalin is taxed out.
