A Deck Full of Big Dumb Idiots by user2816514

Format: Commander

Commander: Susan Foreman and The Tenth Doctor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Temur "Doctor Cascade" value deck built around The Tenth Doctor's attack trigger to suspend a nonland card each combat and then Timey-Wimey it into play for free. Susan Foreman acts as a guaranteed turn-two green ramp commander; her planeswalk ability is irrelevant in normal Commander. The primary plan chains high-mana-value spells through cascade effects from Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Wanderer, and Sunbird's Invocation, then closes with hasted multi-combat beatdown using Moraug, Fury of Akoum and Scourge of the Throne. Secondary paths include Genesis Ultimatum card advantage and Kessig Wolf Run pump. Maelstrom Wanderer and Apex Devastator effectively serve as hidden commanders for the deck's explosive strategy.
