Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green Bear tribal and Stompy strategy commanded by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan focuses on curving out with low-mana Bears such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Wilson, Refined Grizzly, establishing a wide board to deploy Beorn the Fierce on Turn 4 or 5. Once assembled, Beorn distributes trample counters, turns non-Bear utility creatures into Bears, buffs the board with +2/+2, and provides a continuous stream of card advantage by drawing two cards every combat step. The deck escalates this advantage into lethal combat pressure via force multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and Overwhelming Stampede, closing out the game across Turns 6 to 8. Disruptive artifacts like Winter Moon and Trinisphere leverage 37 basic Forests to tax opponents asymmetrically without hurting the pilot. Graveyard recovery from Bearscape and Eternal Witness ensures resilience against conventional removal.
