Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana engines and pingers, utilizing Veyran's static ability to double every trigger caused by casting or copying instant and sorcery spells. Once assembled on Turn 4, the deck pivots into an explosive storm sequence on Turn 5. By chaining one-mana cantrips, rituals like Jeska's Will, and graveyard recursion such as Past in Flames or Mizzix's Mastery, engines like Storm-Kiln Artist generate surplus mana while pingers such as Fiery Inscription, Coruscation Mage, and Electrostatic Field deal lethal burn damage to all three opponents simultaneously. The deck boasts efficient stack interaction and high redundancy, although its reliance on vulnerable creature engines makes it sensitive to well-timed spot removal before its combo turn.
