Lozhan (Dragons) by redhound

Format: Commander

Commander: Lozhan, Dragons' Legacy

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a straightforward Izzet Dragon-tribal battlecruiser helmed by Lozhan, Dragons' Legacy, who adds reach by pinging any non-commander target for each Dragon or Adventure spell's mana value. The plan is to deploy cost reducers, chain out large flying dragons, and convert every ETB into damage through Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Terror of the Peaks, and Warstorm Surge. Scourge of the Throne provides the extra-combat finisher, while treasure generators like Goldspan Dragon and Ganax, Astral Hunter keep the mana flowing. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage backed by a dense ETB-ping package, with Niv-Mizzet, Parun as a secondary draw-and-burn engine. It is a fair, midrange tribal deck with no infinite combos and thin recursion, relying on raw threat density and inevitability.
