Lightning, Army of humanity by Rico7293

Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Deck overview

This is a Boros soldier-token swarm deck that uses Lightning, Army of One as a damage multiplier rather than a Voltron commander. Lightning's Stagger ability makes every subsequent point of damage to a hit player count double, so the deck's real plan is to flood the board with tokens, pump them with anthems and double-strike effects, then turn extra combat phases into lethal swings. Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Assemble the Legion, Hero of Bladehold, and Captain of the Watch provide the army; Blade Historian, Coat of Arms, Fiery Emancipation, and Windcrag Siege turn that army into a finishing board. The backup infinite-combat line is Helm of the Host on Aurelia, the Warleader, but most wins come from chained extra-combat spells and Stagger-boosted combat damage spread by Vincent, Vengeful Atoner and Legion Loyalty.
