Deck overview

The Cabbage Merchant leads a mono-green stompy deck that turns opposing noncreature spells into Food tokens, converting incidental artifacts into mana ramp. Supported by low-cost dorks and land search, the deck reliably casts its commander on Turn 2 or 3 and sets up token engines by Turn 4. This mana fuels creature tutors and big threats, culminating in explosive Turn 5 plays like Natural Order into Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. While the deck runs efficient 1-mana protection such as Veil of Summer and Legolas's Quick Reflexes, its win condition relies on untapping with large trampling creatures over multiple combat steps. Without guaranteed haste or infinite combos, the deck closes the game across three opponent response cycles on Turn 8. It punishes spell-heavy decks effectively, but remains vulnerable to creature sweepers.
