Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a single-faced, Eminence-driven Mardu Vampire deck. The primary plan is to play one- to three-drop Vampires each turn, letting Eminence create a free 1/1 token with every Vampire spell, then stack anthem effects and drain triggers into an overwhelming attack. Secondary paths are aristocrat-style drain via Blood Artist/Cruel Celebrant and Blood-token card advantage, plus mass recursion to rebuild after wipes. The deck does not need to cast Edgar to function, but casting him adds an immediate haste attacker and lets him pump the whole team. There is no hidden commander; the build is entirely keyed to Edgar's Eminence.
