Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis Aristocrats and Combo build piloted by Marchesa, the Black Rose. It leverages Marchesa's dethrone ability and end-step reanimation trigger to create durable recursion engines with +1/+1 counter and persist/undying synergies. While capable of grinding out games through value engines like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Grave Pact, and The One Ring, its primary goal is to assemble deterministic infinite damage combos, most notably Mikaeus, the Unhallowed paired with Triskelion or Murderous Redcap. Backed by premium black tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal) and an elite suite of free protection spells (Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Force of Will), the deck transitions rapidly from early development on Turn 4 to a lethal, same-turn table finish on Turn 5.
