Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari lifegain aristocrats and kindred counters engine led by Blech, Loafing Pest. The primary strategy develops a wide board of Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders, converting frequent lifegain triggers into team-wide +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on establishing mana and deploying low-cost enablers like Essence Warden and Ophiomancer. Once Blech enters the battlefield, counter enhancers such as Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution quickly accelerate creature sizes. Concurrently, aristocrat payoffs including Dina, Soul Steeper, Starscape Cleric, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose drain opponents whenever life is gained or creatures die. Combat trample enablers like Garruk's Uprising and Duskshell Crawler allow the grown kindred swarm to punch through blockers, while Tend the Pests and Bloodletter of Aclazotz create explosive closing turns. The deck features strong redundancy across its lifegain and drain roles, resilient graveyard recursion, and steady value engines to grind out multiplayer victories.
