Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black aristocrats combo-control strategy led by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. It leverages dense fast mana and rituals to accelerate its mana curve, establishing disruptive stax pieces like Contamination, Nether Void, and Winter Moon to suppress opposing development. Meanwhile, it generates continuous card advantage through Sephiroth's sacrifice triggers, token producers, and burst draw engines like Ad Nauseam and Bolas's Citadel. The primary route to victory is a compact infinite drain combo utilizing Warren Soultrader and Gravecrawler, draining all opponents to zero in a single turn through Sephiroth's life-drain ability. The deck also includes multiple redundant win conditions, including Professor Onyx with Chain of Smog and Bloodthirsty Conqueror with Enduring Tenacity, providing powerful angles of attack that operate completely independently of the commander.
