Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal aristocrats engine led by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. Its core strategy centers on deploying resilient Zombie creatures, converting nontoken deaths into decayed tokens, and turning sacrificial fodder into steady card advantage. The deck bridges the early game into the midgame using cost reducers, lords, and edict effects that clear opposing boards while advancing its own graveyard synergies. In the late game, the deck transitions from combat chip damage into explosive finishes via multi-card infinite loops or massive life drain. The primary combos utilize Rooftop Storm casting Gravecrawler infinitely alongside a sacrifice outlet and drain payoff, or Poppet Stitcher transformed into Poppet Factory removing decayed from Wilhelt's tokens for infinite loops. While the deck boasts immense grinding power and recovery through reanimation, its limited reactive countermagic and tutor density leave its combo turns vulnerable to well-timed interaction.
