Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a guaranteed command-zone polymorph engine. By omitting low-mana creatures entirely from the 99, every creature hit in the library is a game-warping threat. The early game focuses on deploying two-mana artifact acceleration and noncreature token producers such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 5, Jace enters the battlefield and immediately uses his [-3] loyalty ability to exile a token and cheat a devastating bomb into play, such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, or Archfiend of Despair. Secondary cheat spells like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny offer explosive multi-creature turns. While the deck possesses immense mid-game pressure and solid resilience through Jace's attack taxing and defensive sweepers, it closes through standard combat steps over multiple turns, leaving it open to well-timed board wipes and targeted exile removal.
