Format: Commander

Commander: King of the Oathbreakers

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

King of the Oathbreakers commands an Orzhov Spirit tribal and token go-wide strategy. The primary game plan revolves around deploying evasive Spirits, triggering the commander phasing ability with targeted spells to dodge interaction, and generating tapped Spirit tokens whenever phased permanents return. Secondary paths utilize token doublers like Thalisse, Reverent Medium and high-impact token generators such as Myojin of Blooming Dawn. The deck converts its wide airborne board into a win through team-wide anthem effects, including Inspiring Leader, Intangible Virtue, and An Unexpected Party. By combining damage prevention spells that target your own creatures with steady aerial pressure, the deck wears down opposing life totals.
