Deck overview

This is a mono-black Snake tribal deck helmed by Sidisi, Undead Vizier, who functions as a repeatable tutor in the command zone - exploiting a snake on entry lets you search for any card. The deck pairs a critical mass of deathtouch snakes with a robust drain package (Blood Artist, Hooded Blightfang, South Wind Avatar, Enduring Tenacity) to grind out incremental life swings. Finishers include Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drain, Exsanguinate, and Bolas's Citadel, with Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Crypt Ghast providing explosive mana. Recursion via Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Soulcoil Viper keeps the board stocked through wipes. The deck is a classic midrange attrition build - it wins through incremental advantage and life-total pressure rather than fast combos.
