The Corrosive by user5546964

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive heads a Dimir control-combo deck that turns -1/-1 counters and proliferate into a one-sided board wipe and a digging/pinging engine. The primary plan is to park Toxrill, proliferate slime counters, and use the slugs for card draw and sacrifice fodder. The fastest finish is a charged Bloodchief Ascension plus Mindcrank (or The Master of Lake-town) mill/drain loop, usually accelerated by Sheoldred. A second infinite loop uses Yawgmoth, Nest of Scarabs, and Blowfly Infestation with any blood-artist-style drainer. Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern acts as the hidden commander: the Lantern forces sacrifices or discard, and the God face steals every lost permanent, turning Grave Pact value into another win angle.
