Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Boros aggro-stax engine commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy deploys low-cost non-Human creatures during the first two turns, including evasive attackers like Battlefield Raptor and utility creatures like Skrelv, Defector Mite. On Turn 3, casting Winota and attacking immediately triggers her ability, digging six cards per attacker to cheat devastating Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The deck leverages high-impact Human payoffs such as Blade Historian, Goldnight Commander, and Angrath's Marauders to multiply combat damage exponentially, alongside token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar to fuel future attack waves. Simultaneously, proactive stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben cripple opponent development while Winota completely bypasses cast restrictions and mana costs. Protected by Grand Abolisher and Mother of Runes, the deck reliably overruns all three opponents by Turn 4.
