Deck overview

This Grand Arbiter Augustin IV deck is an Azorius Stax-Combo strategy designed to slow the table through asymmetric taxation and hard resource locks before finishing with an efficient two-card infinite combo. The commander accelerates your spells while taxing every opposing spell, establishing an early resource disparity. Dense stax pieces such as Back to Basics, Harbinger of the Seas, and Drannith Magistrate punish greedy mana bases and shut down commander casts. While opponents struggle under these restrictions, premier card advantage engines including The One Ring and Rhystic Study generate overwhelming card flow. The primary win condition is the infinite damage loop between Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista, which ends the game immediately on resolution. Absolute silence effects from Teferi, Time Raveler and Conqueror's Flail alongside free counterspells ensure the combo resolves uninterrupted.
