Deck overview

Krark, the Thumbless and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces form one of competitive Commander's premier storm engines. The deck utilizes Krark's coin-flip ability copied by Sakashima to break the parity of flipping coins. When two Krark triggers resolve for a single spell, winning one flip and losing the other returns the physical card to hand while executing a copy. This allows cheap cantrips and rituals to be cast repeatedly, producing boundless mana and storm count alongside enablers like Tavern Scoundrel, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Storm-Kiln Artist. The deck reliably wins on turn 3 by milling the table with Brain Freeze, burning opponents out with Gut Shot, or creating infinite hasty attackers with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. A dense suite of free and efficient counterspells such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will ensures the combo is well defended while keeping opposing fast wins in check.
