Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Voltron and combat-reanimator list piloted by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The core game plan focuses on utilizing Squall's Rough Divide ability, which grants double strike whenever a creature attacks alone. By pairing Squall with efficient stat-boosting equipment like Colossus Hammer and cost-cheating engines such as Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, or Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, the deck delivers 26 commander damage to eliminate a player in a single swing. Each combat damage connection triggers Squall twice, returning low-mana permanents from the graveyard to establish self-sustaining card advantage and board protection. Secondary engines leverage Cloud, Midgar Mercenary to double equipment triggers and Buried Alive to enable reanimation targets like Archon of Cruelty. The deck uses silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos to secure attack steps against interactive tables.
