Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dinosaur Tribal Midrange strategy commanded by Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer and Blue, Loyal Raptor. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 through 3 to deploy Owen and Blue by Turn 4. Owen places keyword counters (haste, trample, menace, or reach) onto Blue, causing every subsequent Dinosaur to enter the battlefield with those same keyword counters. Beginning on Turn 5, the deck deploys massive threats like Etali, Primal Conqueror, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Quartzwood Crasher, immediately attacking with haste to overwhelm defenses and trigger powerful combat abilities. Card advantage engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Temur Ascendancy, and The Great Henge refill the hand as large creatures enter. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through lethal trampling combat damage or via the Marauding Raptor and Polyraptor enrage loop backed by Wrathful Raptors.
