Deck overview

This deck is an Esper spellslinger and mid-range attrition deck led by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The strategy focuses on casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to trigger Y'shtola's passive 2-damage burn and life gain, which in turn fuels her end-step card draw. The list pairs this burn engine with token generators like Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, Summon: Good King Mog XII, and G'raha Tia, Scion Reborn to build a wide, evasive board state. Strong interactive spells like Void Rend, Dovin's Veto, and Swords to Plowshares keep opposing threats in check while defensive tools like Propaganda and Authority of the Consuls deter incoming attacks. The deck finishes games through accumulated combat damage from buffed tokens, sustained spell burn, and a large Exsanguinate.
