Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Jeskai Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Zurgo and Ojutai. The primary game plan accelerates into mid-game dragons using cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and artifact ramp, then deploys Zurgo and Ojutai on Turn 4 to attack immediately with haste and hexproof. The commander's combat trigger digs three cards deep, providing consistent card selection while allowing it to bounce back to hand to dodge sorcery-speed removal. In the mid-to-late game, the deck compounds board presence using high-impact finishers such as Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, and Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest, bolstered by damage amplifiers like Dragon Tempest and Sylvia Brightspear. Interactive spells including Silumgar's Scorn, Dawn's Truce, and targeted removal protect key pieces and clear opposing blockers. Without infinite combos, the deck relies on overwhelming aerial combat damage, extra combat steps, and burn triggers to eliminate all three opponents across Turns 7 and 8.
