Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact swarm strategy centered on Sai, Master Thopterist. The primary game plan revolves around casting a high density of cheap artifact spells to trigger Sai and generate an evasive army of 1/1 flying Thopter tokens. Card draw engines like Idol of Oblivion, Thopter Spy Network, and Sai's built-in sacrifice ability replenish hand size and maintain momentum. The deck converts its wide board into a win through anthem effects like Master of Etherium, recurring counters from Steel Overseer, and unblockable pressure from Kappa Cannoneer. A moderate suite of counterspells and bounce spells protects vital pieces and disrupts critical opponent plays. With a low land count of 30 lands and no fast mana rocks, the deck relies on on-curve deployment and affinity cost reductions. While resilient to targeted removal thanks to redundant token creators and graveyard recursion, it remains vulnerable to mass board wipes.
