Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is a Jeskai spellslinger deck built around a legendary-Wizard synergy engine. The plan is to establish draw engines and cheap legendary Wizards early, then use Gandalf's combat trigger to fire instants and sorceries from hand for free, with the mana value ceiling doubling for each legendary Wizard in play. The primary win condition is mass milling: Psychic Corrosion, Exhibition Tidecaller, and Glamdring, Foe-hammer convert spells and draws into mill triggers, while Fractured Sanity, a kicked Maddening Cacophony, and a stormed Brain Freeze deplete all three libraries. Vivi Ornitier, Ral, Monsoon Mage, and Gandalf, Goblins' Bane provide an incidental burn/counter-growing axis, and Crackle with Power can serve as scalable reach. Teferi, Time Raveler and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir lock opponents into sorcery-speed casting, protecting the combat-step payoff.
