Deck overview

This Hazezon, Shaper of Sand deck is a synergistic Naya lands and token swarm strategy. It uses Desert lands to trigger Hazezon's ability, creating Sand Warrior tokens that fuel both card draw and aggressive combat wins. The mana base leverages cycling Deserts, land sacrifice outlets, and graveyard recursion to ensure constant land drops. Tutors find key utility pieces like Skullclamp and Sunforger to maintain card advantage and access protective spells. Once a wide board of tokens is assembled, the deck closes the game with decisive overruns such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Craterhoof Behemoth, or Akroma's Will. The deck recovers rapidly from removal due to its resilient land-based engine, but remains vulnerable to exile-based sweepers and dedicated graveyard hate.
