Sheoldred, the Drawpocalypse by user4911890

Format: Commander

Commander: Sheoldred, the Apocalypse

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black draw-punisher deck built around Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, turning every card opponent draw into a life-total swing and every card you draw into fuel for drain payoffs. The core plan is to deploy Sheoldred, then force the table to draw with Howling Mine, Temple Bell, Font of Mythos, Seizan, Perverter of Truth, and Teferi's Puzzle Box while Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Psychosis Crawler, Sanguine Bond, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose convert that activity into damage. The primary finisher is a burst line: cast Peer into the Abyss on yourself with Sheoldred and a drain payoff on board, gaining enormous life and killing the whole table with repeated drain triggers. A secondary grind path uses K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Crypt Ghast, and heavy card draw to out-value opponents until the table bleeds out.
