Format: Commander

Commander: Lorehold, the Historian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lorehold, the Historian turns every instant and sorcery in hand into a cheap miracle while using upkeep discard-draws to churn through the deck. The primary plan is a Boros spell-slinger engine: use Lorehold and Inti to filter, trigger discard payoffs like Magmakin Artillerist and Glint-Horn Buccaneer, and drain opponents with Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe. A secondary combo line assembles Approach of the Second Sun with Reprieve (often with Library of Leng) to win instantly. The commander is the engine rather than the finisher; the deck can also explode with Mana Geyser, Double Vision, and Storm-Kiln Artist.
